Engineering Manager

The Engineering Manager at Stax.ai will play a crucial role in leading a dynamic team of engineers to build cutting-edge solutions that streamline TPA operations. This position involves both managerial responsibilities and hands-on technical involvement. You will be working closely with our engineering and solutions team leads, along with the rest of our team to drive innovation and deliver great product on time.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a team of engineers, providing mentorship and support to facilitate their professional development.

• Work closely with product management to establish technical requirements and influence product strategy.

• Drive the development of new features, system integrations, and enhancements to meet business needs.

• Implement best practices for coding standards, security measures, and system performance.

• Ensure effective collaboration between engineering, product, and customer success teams for unified company vision.

• Maintain active involvement in coding and problem-solving to address complex technical issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in software development, with 2+ years in a leadership capacity.

• Proven technical proficiency in SaaS-based solutions, architecture, and design.

• Adaptability and effectiveness in a fast-paced, startup environment.

• Familiarity with contemporary web technologies, API development, and cloud services.

• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
