PensionPro® and Stax.ai® recently announced our strategic partnership at the PensionPro User Group 2022 event in Hershey, PA – great news for all of us. While Stax.ai already seamlessly integrates with PensionPro, our new partnership means users of both platforms can now look forward to even deeper integration and cross-functionality between the platforms. This isn’t just a partnership in name, it’s a commitment to the future. Stax.ai and PensionPro will be working together on the development of new and useful integration that can drive productivity upwards.

PensionPro is a tool built by TPAs, for TPAs, which provides practice management functionality and plan-specific databases. It is one of the leading tools used by plan administrators in the nation. Within PensionPro you can track all of your clients, their plans, and their individual investment accounts. It can also be linked to a local or network drive where you store the client’s statements, communications, and other documents.

Stax.ai integrates with PensionPro to collect uniquely identifiable information statements (such as investment account numbers), and connects them to the correct client, plan, and directory. Additionally, Stax.ai can also automatically add PensionPro plans from intake documents, upload deliverables to PensionPro, and auto-populate fields in PensionPro from record-keeper portals!

Like most modern cloud-based technologies, PensionPro provides integration through an Application Programming Interface (API). Stax.ai supports external integrations using custom APIs.

To connect your Stax.ai account to your PensionPro account, create a new PensionPro user for Stax.ai, and generate an API key for your PensionPro™ account (Maintenance → Firms/Locations → Regenerate API key). You can enter this information when adding a PensionPro integration under your Stax.ai Team Settings → Sync Data page.
